OUR MISSION

How SAV started?
SAV stands for Syrian Active Volunteers. We are a Non-Governmental Organization was established towards the end of 2015 to support the Syrian refugees during their transition period in Canada. Since their arrival at the airport, the new Syrian refugees were welcomed by our army of volunteers, then during their stay in the hotels, moving to their houses. Since it was concentrating on helping the Syrian refugees that were coming into a new, foreign country, Canada ; the name was then changed to SAV Syria. With the start of 2017, SAV Syria evolved to becomes 'SAV Canada' in order to support all immigrants and refugees.
